Contract Description
In Markdal-Noord ligt een KRW opgave die voor het einde van 2027 gerealiseerd moet worden. Voor het verbeteren van de ecologische waterkwaliteit gaat het om ruim 4 kilometer beekherstel. Daarnaast lost het waterschap tegelijkertijd twee barrières op voor vissen die stroomopwaarts willen zwemmen. In het kader van het Natuurnetwerk Brabant (NNB) wil de provincie ongeveer 54 hectare nieuwe natuur realiseren, onder andere om de biodiversiteit te versterken. Daar hoort ook natte natuur bij voor het bevorderen van het hydrologisch herstel in het gebied. En waar mogelijk ook koppelkansen voor landbouw, recreatie en natuurbeleving en landschapsontwikkeling. Het project is tijd- en kwaliteit gestuurd. Dat wil zeggen; we sturen op de KRW-deadline van realisatie vóór eind 2027 en sturen op maximale eco(hydro)logische doelrealisatie en proceskwaliteit. n.n.b.
