About TenderMetric

Mission

TenderMetric is an independent EU public procurement intelligence platform that aggregates, normalizes, and presents active tender notices from TED Europa β€” the official EU procurement journal. Our goal is to make the €2 trillion EU public procurement market accessible to SMEs, consultants, contractors, and researchers who lack the resources to monitor it continuously.

Who We Serve

TenderMetric serves SMEs and contractors looking for public contract opportunities across Europe; bid writers and procurement consultants tracking sector activity; policy researchers analyzing public spending patterns; construction, IT, healthcare, and engineering firms monitoring sector-specific tenders; and procurement professionals benchmarking their markets across member states.

Data Source

All tender data is sourced directly from TED Europa (Tenders Electronic Daily) via its public REST API v3. TED is managed by the Publications Office of the European Union and publishes procurement notices as required by EU Directive 2014/24/EU.

We do not create, modify, or verify tender data beyond automated normalization. All original notices are linked directly to the official TED Europa platform. For legally binding procurement information, always refer to the original notice on ted.europa.eu.

Coverage

TenderMetric covers contract notices (CN-Standard) published across all 27 EU member states above the EU procurement thresholds defined in Directive 2014/24/EU. Data is refreshed hourly via Cloudflare KV caching. Sector classification is based on CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) codes. Coverage includes Construction, IT Services, Healthcare, Engineering, Defense, Education, Transport, Energy, Environment, Finance, and more.

Technical Infrastructure

TenderMetric runs on a serverless edge architecture (Astro SSR + Cloudflare Workers) with multi-layer caching. An AI-assisted layer powered by Claude generates plain-language briefings per tender, helping users quickly understand what a contract covers and who it's for β€” without needing to parse raw TED notices.

Editorial Team

TenderMetric's Insights content is produced by a team of EU procurement specialists with direct experience in public contracting, EU law, and bid writing across member states.
