EU public procurement deadlines are legally binding. Under Directive 2014/24/EU, contracting authorities must set minimum time limits for submission that give suppliers reasonable time to prepare competitive bids — at least 35 days for open procedures, 30 days for restricted procedures, and reduced periods where justified by urgency. Once a deadline passes, late submissions are rejected automatically. No individual exceptions are made. For organisations that depend on EU public sector contracts as a revenue stream, missing submission windows has direct commercial consequences.
This calendar aggregates every active EU procurement notice from TED Europa that carries a posted submission deadline, organised by month. It covers tenders from all 27 EU member states across all CPV sectors — construction, IT, healthcare, defence, environment, transport, professional services, and more. The data refreshes daily, so new notices appear within 24 hours of publication on TED. Use this view alongside the closing-soon tracker for the most time-critical opportunities.
Note: Deadlines shown reflect the submission deadline for the primary tender notice. Some procedures (particularly restricted procedures and competitive dialogues) have separate pre-qualification and invitation-to-tender stages with different deadlines. Always read the full contract notice on TED Europa to identify all relevant deadlines for multi-stage procedures.
