Contract Description
Gebouw Flux op de TU/e-campus (opgeleverd in 2014) heeft een tweede huidgevel van circa 9.700 m². In 2024 is vastgesteld dat rubbers van het buitenste glasprofiel loslaten en enkele glaspanelen zijn verzakt, wat een hoog risico op uitval van glas veroorzaakt. Het gebouw (29.630 m² BVO, 10 verdiepingen, ca. 41 m hoog) heeft een onderwijs- en kantoorfunctie met enkele labs. Onderzoek door derden en een extern adviesbureau leidde tot een herstelrapportage en technische omschrijving. Omdat de gevelconstructie niet aantoonbaar veilig is, voert TU/e periodieke inspecties uit, plaatst zekeringen op glasplaten en gebruikt drones voor puntenwolkmetingen. Uiteindelijk moet de volledige tweede huidgevel worden vervangen. Gebouw Flux is 29.630m2 BVO, telt 10 verdiepingen en is +/- 41m hoog. Het gebouw heeft een onderwijs- en kantoorfunctie waar enkele labs aanwezig zijn welke gebruikt worden door diverse Faculteiten. De tweede huidgevel van Flux is +/- 9.700m2.
