Contract Description
Die regiobus Hannover GmbH ist ein Nahverkehrsunternehmen in der und für die Region Hannover. Gemeinsam mit anderen Verkehrsunternehmen betreibt die regiobus Hannover GmbH den öffentlichen Personennahverkehr im Verkehrsverbund "GroÃraum-Verkehr Hannover" (GVH). Die regiobus Hannover GmbH wurde 1998 gegründet und entstand aus der Verschmelzung von drei Verkehrsunternehmen und einer Servicegesellschaft. Die regiobus Hannover GmbH verteilt sich auf sechs Standorte mit der Verwaltung in Hannover sowie den Betriebshöfen in Burgdorf, Mellendorf, Neustadt am Rbge., Wunstorf und Eldagsen. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt rund 800 Mitarbeiter. Mit fast 400 im Linienverkehr eingesetzten Fahrzeugen (davon 260 eigene) werden jährlich ca. 28 Mio. Fahrgäste befördert. Zur Erbringung ihrer Leistungen bedient sich die regiobus Hannover GmbH auch anderer Busunternehmen, die derzeit mit 130 Fahrzeugen für die regiobus Hannover GmbH im Umlandverkehr in der Region Hannover unterwegs sind. Derzeit wird etwa ein Drittel der Fahrleistung von 6 Unternehmen erbracht, die zusammen eine Fahrleistung von 7,4 Mio. Betriebswagen-Kilometern jährlich erreichen. Der Gegenstand des vorliegenden Vergabeverfahrens ist insoweit die Erbringung von Verkehrsleistungen im Linienverkehr gemäà §§ 42, 43 Personenbeförderungsgesetz (PBefG). Der diesem Vergabeverfahren zu Grunde liegende Leistungsumfang der ausgeschriebenen Linien ergibt sich aus den beiliegenden Anlagen.
